Once the system reboots, and you can log in at the root account, there's all sorts of possibilities for post-install configuration, but we'll list just a little here that will help you avoid the most common annoyances.
Edit the file /etc/sysconfig/i18n, and set the LANG variable to the value "en_US". This will solve the well-known problems with running the Acrobat reader program acroread, as well as fixing the display issue with man pages.
Note that this is not a problem with the Red Hat operating system itself. Rather, it's a problem caused by incomplete UTF-8 support in applications, so this fix should be considered strictly temporary.
